Since our launch in July 2025, WECOE has been recognised for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and timeless design. We are proud to be a finalist in the HTW Fashion Startup Award, which celebrates emerging brands pushing boundaries in creativity, sustainable practices, and innovation within the fashion industry. This recognition highlights our focus on circular and modular design, reducing material waste, and designing with intention, all while creating stylish, functional leather handbags that redefine modern luxury at a mid-range, attainable price point.
In addition, WECOE has been selected as one of the European fashion brands recognised by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and EQUIPO. WIPO’s programme identifies standout European brands with strong potential for global growth, providing guidance on intellectual property strategy and sustainable business practices. This recognition affirms that WECOE is not only crafting beautiful leather handbags but also building a brand with long-term vision, global impact, and responsible design.
WECOE was born from a generational love of handbags and premium leather goods, combined with years of research to create the perfect everyday bag. Frustrated by the polarised fashion market, on one side, cheap, disposable fast fashion driven by fleeting micro-trends; on the other, soaring luxury prices with declining quality, we set out to create a healthier middle ground. WECOE offers limited-edition leather handbags that combine timeless style, practicality, and understated elegance, all at a price that makes sustainable, high-quality design truly accessible.
